Christmas Candlelite Walk 2007
Friday, Nov. 30 12 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 1 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 2 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
 
Enjoy an old-fashioned Christmas where the participating shops are gaily decorated with roping of holly, red and green flickering candles and pine boughs and the interiors emit the aromas and feel of years gone by.  Many shops will feature "Candy Cane Specials" or offer seasonal refreshments. Chat with Santa Claus or Ebenezer Scrooge as they, too, enjoy the festival!

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 1
Christmas in the Barn Craft Bazaar
Avon United Methodist Church
37711 Detroit Rd.
9:00 a.m. -- 3:00 p.m.
Handcrafted Delights, Home Baked Goodies, Hot soup & Home-cooked Food

Santa's Horse-Drawn Sleigh
will wend its way through the French Creek District
from 4 to 5 p.m., stopping at
Olde Avon Village,
Avon Senior Center,
Avon Plaza,
on its way to. . .

Christmas Caroling and the Lighting of the Community Christmas Tree
Join in at the HERITAGE SQUARE GAZEBO
at 5:00 p.m. for the Avon High School Choir and Santa lighting the tree.  Afterwards. . .

Santa will greet children at the Old Town Hall
where goody bags and hot chocolate will be provided by
Avon Lions Club and Avon Historical Society, then. . .

Stroll through the Shops
which will be open until 1o:00, all lit up with luminaria and Holiday Spirit!

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2
Pancake Breakfast
from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at
Avon High School, 37545 Detroit Rd.
Enjoy the music of the Avon Jazz Bands
sponsored by the Avon Band Boosters, then. . .

Stroll through the Shops
which will be open until 5:00 p.m.

 
Free parking available in the municipal lot behind the Police Station.
